When we saw these building blocks we went nuts! The Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie House and the leaning tower of Pisa were just too cool! I guess you could say we're just kids at heart!
The Museum Block Set
Product # TY-WB-MB
As you walk on Fifth Avenue next to
Central Park in New York, you see
something wonderfully unique among
the tall buildings. The early design was
called Optimistic Ziggurat because of
the rounded structure on the end of the
building. The Solomon R. Guggenheim
Museum was designed by Frank Lloyd
Wright not only to show works of such
masters as Kandinsky, Picasso, Leger,
Klee and Chagall but also to make the
building and the painting "an uninter-
rupted, beautiful symphony such as
never existed in the World of Art before."
This 54 piece block set allows the ele-
ments of the "Optimistic Ziggurat" to be
constructed and enjoyed over and over.
The pieces are attractively Grafted from
hardwood maple. The beautiful wooden
box with a slate cover serves as the city
street.
