During
the first two years of employment in this
position, he was able to increase sales
by 19% by creating new merchandising programs
and a computerized security merchandise
logging system. Due to their success, these
programs were implemented into Walmart's
national operations manual and Joe was requested
to teach the seminars on these programs
personally at Walmart's Institute for training
in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Although
enjoying a successful career with Wal-Mart,
Joe decided to pursue his first love in
design. He took an Interior Design position
at Busk Brothers Furniture. With five years
under his belt, he developed an extensive
knowledge of the furniture industry and
received additional training as a graduate
of the Shepherd Management School in interior
design and selling techniques.
With
support and encouragement from his clients,
Joe finally took the plunge and opened his
own business-Bella Interiors. Since then
he has received many accolades by the design
community for his interior work both commercially
and residentially throughout the United
States and Abroad. Experienced in all types
of design and construction Joe works closely
with architects and contractors to ensure
project integrity.
